A refrigerator is provided to display a degree of contamination inside the refrigerator for a user by installing a contamination detection sensor and a display device. A refrigerator comprises a refrigerator control part(10), and a display device(20). The refrigerator control part generates a contamination display command by receiving a contamination level from a contamination detection sensor(11) installed inside a refrigerator when a smell level is more than reference level. The display device, which is connected through the refrigerator control part and a communication line, displays a waiting screen and a contamination alarming screen when the contamination display command is received. The refrigerator control part includes the position information of the contamination detection sensor in the contamination display command. The display device deletes the waiting screen and displays the contamination alarming screen. |
