<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding die assembly which can ensure sufficient energy saving effect as well as a molded article. <P>SOLUTION: First, an expandable synthetic resin is filled into a molding space S to be formed by fitting together front side fitting faces of a set of respective molding dies 4, 5. Next, steam is supplied into steam chambers 16 and 17 compartmented by walls for enclosing back sides of the molding dies 4 and 5. This enables the foamed molded product to be obtained by thermally molding the expandable synthetic resin inside the molding space S. Further, a volume reducing member 24 for reducing a volume of at least one of the steam chambers 16, is arranged inside the steam chamber 16, and the volume reducing member 24 is constituted of a low heat conductivity material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
