<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect various boxing failures such as the omission of any article or partition plate in a non-contact state regardless of the type, shape or weight of an article to be boxed. <P>SOLUTION: Disclosed is a boxed article inspection method for inspecting the boxed state of a boxed article 12 in which a plurality of glass bins 1 are boxed in an aligned state. In a preparation process, inspection areas are respectively set at positions where the respective glass bins 1 are aligned and arranged about a reference image to be obtained by imaging the boxed article 12 in an appropriate boxed state, and information relating to concentration distribution about the reference image in each inspection area is extracted to acquire information as a reference of each inspection area. In an inspection process, the respective inspection areas are set at positions where the respective glass bins are aligned and arranged about an inspection object image to be obtained by imaging the boxed article 12 as the object of inspection, and inspection information relating to the concentration distribution about an inspection object image in each inspection area is extracted, and each inspection information is contrasted with the reference information so that the propriety of the boxed state can be discriminated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
