<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging box that can reduce such troubles that the insertion piece of an opening and closing lid is damaged even when large force is applied to a locking piece when releasing the lock of the opening and closing lid. <P>SOLUTION: In the packaging box, the insertion piece 21 to be inserted into the inside of a box body 23 in the closure state of the opening and closing lid 11 is disposed to be projected on the edge 41 of the opening and closing lid 11 and the locking piece 15 is formed on the box body 23. The locking piece 15 includes: an arm part 14 formed to be folded by forming a cut 16 on the edge of the box body 23; and an insertion part 13 which is disposed to be projected on the top edge of the arm part 14 via a folding line 37, wherein the opening and closing lid 11 is locked on the closing position by inserting the insertion part 13 into the slit part 19 of the opening and closing lid 11.
