<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent, with a simple configuration, enlargement of a margin caused by an influence of variation of holding position of a rear end of a paper sheet due to floating of a recording material held by an outer peripheral surface of a transfer member. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming device includes a transfer drum 21 for transferring a toner image on a photoreceptor drum 11 to the paper sheet S at a transfer position Tr; a front end gripper 22 which is provided to the transfer drum 21, and holds, to an outer peripheral surface of the transfer drum 21, a front end in a conveyance direction of the paper sheet S fed to the paper supply position P which is set to the outer peripheral surface of the transfer drum 21; and a rear end gripper 23 which is arranged while facing the outer peripheral surface of the transfer drum 21, waits at a waiting position W set between the paper supply position P and the transfer position Tr, presses the paper sheet S whose front end in a conveyance direction is held by the front end gripper 22 against the outer peripheral surface of the transfer drum 21, circulates with the transfer drum 21 accompanying the arrival of the rear end in the conveyance direction of the paper sheet S to the waiting position W, and holds the rear end in the conveyance direction of the paper sheet S to the outer peripheral surface of the transfer drum 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
