PURPOSE: An abrasion resistant alloy and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to extend the lifetime of a product with excellent heat resistance and abrasion resistance, and to enable the application to elements, which need machinability, such machine components or parts by improving productivity. CONSTITUTION: An abrasion resistant alloy comprises 0.2-0.45w% of C, 0.25w% or less of Si, 1-1.8w% of Ni, 0.5-1.2w% of Cr, 0.7-1.0w% of Mo, 0.8w% or less of Mn, 0.07-0.11w% of V, 0.15w% or less of B, and the rest of Fe and unavoidable impurities.
