Disclosed in the embodiment of the present invention are a signal transmission method wherein a first communication apparatus obtains a first corresponding relationship between a PSD of signal transmission of the first communication apparatus and a PSD of signal transmission of a second communication apparatus on the one hand, and a received signal-to-noise ratio of the first communication apparatus on the other hand, said received signal-to-noise ratio of the first communication apparatus being the ratio of the effective signal received by the first communication apparatus relative to noise; obtain a second corresponding relationship between the received signal-to-noise ratio of the first communication apparatus and a bit number of a carrier signal; use an optimization algorithm on the basis of the first corresponding relationship and the second corresponding relationship to calculate, when the line rate between the first communication apparatus and the second communication apparatus is the fastest, the PSD of the signal transmission of the first communication apparatus and the PSD of the second communication apparatus transmitting a signal. A communication apparatus and a system are disclosed.
