<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly collect physical device information even when there is a change in the physical device in a system which manages physical devices by using a virtual device and notifies a service server of information collected from the physical device associated with the virtual device. <P>SOLUTION: A data management server 3 which is communicatively interconnected with a plurality of devices 1 and notifies a service server 4 of information collected from the device 1 associated with a virtual device among the plurality of devices 1, performs following processing. That is, when a communication processing unit 31 receives notification indicating a change in the device 1, a device management unit 33 acquires values which are indexes indicating competence for association with the virtual device, for the device 1 having the change and the respective devices 1 other than the device 1 having the change.
