摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel property detection device having a thermistor providing a high detection sensitivity of fuel temperature and a high detection accuracy of fuel property. <P>SOLUTION: A fuel property detection device 10 comprises: a first electrode 30 and a second electrode 40 coaxially disposed with each other. A thermistor 50 is provided inside the second electrode 40. The thermistor 50 includes a resistor 51 being enclosed by a protector 54 to thereby isolate the resistor 51 from a fuel passage 98. The cylindrical protector 54 is immersed in the fuel within the fuel passage and disposed coaxially with the second electrode 40. An O-ring 73 seals a space liquid-tightly between the second electrode 40 and the protector 54. With this, since the heat of the fuel in the fuel passage 98 is directly conducted to the thermistor 50, the temperature on the thermistor 50 is equal to the fuel temperature with no time lag. Therefore, the thermistor 50 achieves a high detection sensitivity of the fuel temperature. Accordingly, the thermistor 50 detects the fuel temperature with little error achieving a high detection accuracy of fuel property. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
