PURPOSE: A cone ring type continuously variable automatic transmission is provided to improve reliability of power transmission by continuously changing speed within a predetermined range using a friction ring as a variator. CONSTITUTION: A rotary shaft of a first cone and a rotary shaft of a second cone(3) are parallelly and separately arranged. A friction ring(5) is formed between the first cone and the second cone. The friction ring is circumscribed to the second cone and is inscribed to the first cone. A ring transport unit moves along an outer inclined plane of the second cone and the first cone. An input shaft accomplishes a coaxial shaft with the first cone. An output shaft(11) is accomplishes a coaxial shaft with the second cone. A ball lamp tool is placed between the second cone and the output shaft. |
