<p>This heads-up display is mounted in a moving body such as a vehicle and generates a virtual image forward of the windshield, for example, and displays an image by superimposing the virtual image on a scene forward of the moving body. When a guide route to a destination has been set, a display control means displays a route guide image that shows that guide route and a text guide image that shows guide locations on the guide route in text. Here, the display control means displays the text guide image during stops of the moving body and does not display the text guide image during movement of the moving body. Thus, drawing of the attention of a driver to the text information that is displayed is prevented during driving.</p> |
