<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toothed belt that reduces friction resistance of a belt side surface and effectively suppresses the generation of abrasion powder when contacting a guide member such as a flange or a guide rail. <P>SOLUTION: The toothed belt is coated by a belt body 11, a plurality of teeth 12 arranged at a predetermined space along the longitudinal direction of the belt and tooth surfaces 12a of the teeth 12.
