摘要 PURPOSE: A contour measuring device and a method for controlling the same are provided to use both of encoder and a turn sensor, thereby enhancing the reliability of measuring a rotational angle of a ball screw. CONSTITUTION: A contour measuring device comprises a jig(130), a motor, a first angle measuring unit, displacement measuring sensors(142,144), a horizontal guide, a vertical guide(160), a second angle measuring unit, and a control unit(190). The jig is arranged in the frame so that a measurement object is placed on the jig. The motor rotates the jig. The first angle measuring unit measures a rotational angle of the jig. The displacement measuring sensors measures the out-of-roundness of the measurement object. The horizontal guide moves the displacement measuring sensors in a horizontal direction. The vertical guide moves the displacement measuring sensors in a vertical direction by the rotation of a ball screw.
