<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor controller in which operation sound and torque ripples are reduced by performing current detection of a motor by 1 shunt system, and to provide an electric power steering device loading the same. <P>SOLUTION: The motor controller performing drive control of a motor with an inverter on the basis of the duty command value of each phase of a PWM, and detecting each phase motor current of the motor with a 1 shunt current detector comprises a current detection correction section which calculates a current detection correction value by the power supply voltage of an inverter, each phase duty command value, the counter electromotive voltage information of the motor, each phase motor current detected by the current detector, the arrangement information of PWM and the electrical characteristic formula of the motor, and performs drive control of the motor by correcting each phase motor current, detected by the current detector from the current detection correction value, to a motor average current. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
