Provided is a latent image photography device as a means for either clearly verifying or photographing a latent image which an object has, said latent image being visible with a polarized filter, said latent image photography device being for photographing an object having a patterned optical anisotropy layer having two or more regions with different refraction and a reflecting layer having a function which selectively reflects inputted light in a specified direction, such as a recursive reflecting layer, and a latent image which is visible by observing the object via a polarized plate. The latent image photography device comprises an optical path assembly for inputted light, an optical path assembly for reflected light, and an image capture element. The image capture element is positioned upon an optical path of reflected light in which the inputted light is selectively reflected in the specified direction. |
