<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricant supply mechanism for a linear guide, which can sufficiently supply a lubricant to required portions of a rolling element and a rolling path even when relative movement between a guide rail and a bearing is performed in a short distance (stroke) or even when a mounting posture is not horizontal, and to provide a linear guide having the above mechanism and a method for supplying a lubricant to a linear guide. <P>SOLUTION: The lubricant supply mechanism for a linear guide includes: an injection port for injecting a lubricant into a bearing loosely fitted across a guide rail; and a discharge port 16 communicating with the injection port and discharging the lubricant. The discharge port 16 is provided in a rolling groove 116 or close to the groove, which faces the guide rail, of a bearing body 14 constituting the bearing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
