<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small size push-on switch used on an input operation section of various kinds of electronic apparatuses, which has a structure ensuring a stable electrical contact between a movable contact and an outside fixed contact without a protruding portion on the outside fixed contact. <P>SOLUTION: A movable contact 15 is formed in a generally oval shape including: a pair of straight edge portions 15A, in which a disk-like shape viewed from the top is parallely cut off at both sides with a predetermined width; a pair of remaining circular edge portions 15B; and four arc-like edge portions 15C, where the straight edge portions 15A and the circular edge portions 15B are intersect with each other, are cut-off. The movable contact 15 is mounted on a concave bottom of a case 11, and a plane outside fixed contact 13 is configured so that entire surface thereof is exposed in the concave bottom.
