Harvested crop measuring arrangement - using electromechanical sensors distributed over separation region of harvester threshing cage

The arrangement for measuring the throughput of a harvested crop converts mechanical pulses into electrical signals via sensors. The sensors (4) are mounted in a region beneath the cage wires (5) between the threshing bars (6) and threshing cage (2). The sensors are distributed over the entire separation region of the threshing cage and are arranged transversely w.r.t. the harvested crop flow direction between two adjacent cage restraints. USE/ADVANTAGE - For measuring the throughput of harvested crop in the separation region of the threshing cage of harvester thresher. Disturbance-free, functionally reliable throughput measurement is achieved.
