<p>The invention provides immunosuppressive polypeptides and nucleic acids encoding such polypeptides. In one aspect, the invention provides mutant CTLA-4 polypeptides and nucleic acids encoding mutant CTLA-4 polypeptides. Compositions and methods for utilizing such polypeptides and nucleic acids are also provided. A specific aspect of the invention relates to a fusion protein dimer comprising two monomeric fusion proteins, the monomeric fusion proteins being linked via at least one disulfide bond formed between two cysteine residues and comprising (a) a polypeptide sequence based on SEQ ID NO:50, and (b) an Ig Fc polypeptide.</p> |
