POWER TOOL DUST COLLECTING DEVICE AND POWER TOOL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a preferable efficiency in dust collection by maintaining a flow of air without deteriorating a suction force even if a suction head is inclined.

SOLUTION: In a power tool dust collecting device 30, a blocking ring 50 that is subject to elastic deformation upon contact with a workpiece surface for blockage between a suction head 45 and the workpiece surface is provided to the front surface of the suction head 45 to be brought into contact with the workpiece surface. The blocking ring 50 has a ventilating portion (a V-shaped slit 53) that ensures the flow of air to the suction head 45 regardless of whether the elastic deformation has occurred.
