PURPOSE: A coasting control method is provided to prevent the loss of driving feeling and durability due to the frequent operation of a clutch. CONSTITUTION: A controlling method of an AMT hybrid vehicle variably controls a regenerative braking amount according to a manipulated variable of an accelerator pedal within a specific control range and reduces the regenerative braking amount as the manipulated variable of an accelerator pedal increases. When the manipulated variable of an accelerator pedal is within the specific range, a conversion index for decelerating with regard to a current manipulated variable of an accelerator pedal is obtained, the conversion index for decelerating is calculated, and a regenerative braking is conducted to satisfy the required torque amount of conversion decelerating.
