PURPOSE: A multilayer type inductor and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to maintain a closed magnetic path structure by inserting non-magnetic material in the vertical direction to a multilayer type inductor. CONSTITUTION: A multilayer body(110) laminates a plurality of body sheets. A coil unit(150) consists of an internal electrode pattern. A magnetic path shield unit(140) is formed in the vertical direction while being adjacent to the coil unit. An external electrode(120) is formed on both sides of the multilayer body. The external electrode is electrically connected to both ends of the coil unit.
