<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To create new impulse response in which spatial spread feeling of a sound field perceived by a listener is changed, while maintaining a characteristic of reverberation sound of initial impulse response. <P>SOLUTION: A waveform segmentation section 32 segments an initial impulse response H0 stored in a memory device 14 in time axis, into a main reflection sound block Ba including a strong peak, and a block Bb between reflection sounds other than the main reflection sound block Ba. An expansion/contraction section 34 expands or contracts the block Bb between reflection sounds in time axis, and creates interpolation block Bc. A waveform combining section 36 creates the new impulse response HNEW by combining the main reflection sound block Ba predetermined by the waveform segmentation section 32, and the interpolation block Bc created by the expansion/contraction section 34. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
