PURPOSE: A device for maintaining the braking power of a vehicle is provided to maintain a braking state of a braking device as long as manipulation for starting the vehicle is not input when the vehicle stops temporarily or completely. CONSTITUTION: A device for maintaining the braking power of a vehicle comprises a brake pedal shaft(100), a fixed plate(2), a stopper(4), a latching device(3), an outer coupling plate(5), an operating space(7), a brake control bar(6), a switch device(8), and a brake control bar push rod(9). The brake pedal shaft is moved by a hinge when a brake pedal(150) is stepped. The fixed plate includes coupling holes(2a,2b) on both sides thereof, and a fixed shaft penetrates through the fixed plate. The stopper is fixed to the fixed shaft and controls the rotation of the brake control bar. The latching device includes a latching piece(3b). The outer coupling plate is attached to an outer side to protect the stopper and the latching device. The operating space is arranged in between the stopper and the latching device to allow the rotation of the brake control bar. The brake control bar is installed in the operating space and includes a hinge hole(6-2) and a latching portion(6-3). Power is supplied while the switch device is pushed. The brake control bar push rod is installed in a bracket(101) integrated in the brake pedal shaft and operates according to the supply of power by being connected to the switch device. |
