PURPOSE: A device and method for discharging condensate are provided to increase the service life of a crank and gear by injecting only oil to a pump and discharging water to the outside. CONSTITUTION: A device for discharging condensate comprises a storage tank, a injection unit(30), a sensor(14), a control unit(20), and an opening and closing unit(12). The storage tank temporally holds water and oil. The storage tank comprises a switch valve which opens and closes an inlet pipe for the water and oil. The injection unit injects the oil in the storage tank to a high pressure water tank. The sensor is installed in the storage tank, and high pressure water tank. The control unit controls the switch valve and injection unit. The opening and closing unit is installed at the outside of the storage tank, and opens and closes a discharge port.
