The assembly (1) has leaf spring elements (4) connected with each other by moment-rigid connection parts (51, 52). Distance of the spring elements in a region between connection parts is changed by clamping and releasing the spring elements that are separated from each other by an elastically resilient spring layer (6). A spacing support body (7) is arranged between the spring elements and on a sub region on sides of the spring layer, and limits compression of the spring layer with approximately 50 percent of thickness, where the spring layer flexibly surrounds the body. The leaf spring element is formed from steel, a carbon composite material or titanium. The spring layer is formed by a high elastic foam material. The spacing support body is formed from hard rubber. An independent claim is also included for a foot prosthesis.
