<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder charging device capable of efficiently charging powder with a high density. <P>SOLUTION: A toner charging device 1 includes: a toner storage part 2 including a toner storage chamber 5 in which toner is stored, and a piston 6 to apply a pressure to the toner stored in the toner storage chamber 5, and: a nozzle 3 connected to the toner storage chamber 5 to discharge the toner to outside. The toner storage chamber 5 includes a toner supply port 15 for supplying the toner into the toner storage chamber 5 and a toner discharge port 27 for connecting the inside of the toner storage chamber 5 and the nozzle 3 and the toner storage part 2 includes an exhaust port 16 for discharging air in the toner storage chamber 5 to the outside during pressurization, separately from the toner supply port 15 and the toner discharge port 27. Air in the toner storage chamber 5 is discharged to the outside through the exhaust port 16 by applying the pressure to the inside of the toner storage chamber 5 by the piston 6, whereby high-density toner is discharged from the nozzle 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
