<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine tool provided with an automatic palette changer having a simple structure and capable of attaining space saving. <P>SOLUTION: The machine tool provided with the automatic palette changer includes: a bed 1; a machining head 2 disposed on the bed 1 and attached with a tool for machining a workpiece W; a table 10 disposed on the bed 1, holding a pallet P to which the workpiece W is fixed and freely movable in a horizontal direction; and a plurality of pallet holding tools 20L and 20R disposed on the outer side of a region where the table 10 is positioned when the workpiece W is machined and on the inner side of a region where the table 10 can be moved on the bed 1, and delivering the pallet P to which the workpiece W before and after machining is fixed between themselves and the table 10 and holding the pallets P.
