Some embodiments provide a media editing application that allows a composite presentation to be exported to different tracks. To export the composite presentation, the media editing application of some embodiments performs multiple rendering passes on a sequence of clips while disabling one or more of the clips in the sequence. In some embodiments, the composite presentation is output to different tracks based on metadata associated with the clips. In some embodiments, the metadata tags indicate different roles or categories for the clips. |
