PURPOSE: A glue stick preventing the loss of a cap is provided to supply a glue stick to be used by pulling a main body of the glue stick upwards with a cap remained. CONSTITUTION: A glue stick preventing the loss of a cap includes an upper end projection(a) of the glue stick which fixes the cap when the glue stick is not in use and a lower end projection(b) of the glue stick which fixes the cap when the glue stick is in use. The glue stick is movable up and down and has a cap which is opened when the glues stick moves downwards and stopped by the lower end projection.
