PURPOSE: Nitzschia cf. pusilla is provided to effectively produce bio diesel and to remove nitrogen and phosphorus from waste water. CONSTITUTION: A 28s rDNA of Nitzschia cf. pusilla contains a base sequence of sequence number 1. The lipid content is 48-60 wt%. The content of palmitic acid in the total fatty acid is 30-40 wt%. A composition for producing biodiesel contains the Nitzschia cf. pusilla strain, a culture thereof, or a dried product of the strain or culture. A microorganism formulation for treating waste water contains the strain, culture, or a mixture thereof. |
