PURPOSE: A unified structure for a void space of an engine room is provided to reduce the construction cost of a ship and to improve the profitability of the ship by reducing cost for fittings and paints constructed in a void area. CONSTITUTION: A unified structure for a void space of an engine room comprises an engine room(100), a fuel tank(110), a heavy oil bunker tank(120), a void space(130), and a side void space(150). An engine and facilities related with the operation of the engine are loaded in the engine room. The fuel tank is formed in the engine room to store ultralow sulfur fuel oil. The heavy oil bunker tank is formed in the engine room to store heavy oil. The void space is formed between the fuel tank and the heavy oil bunker tank. The side void space is formed among the fuel tank, the heavy oil bunker tank, and an outer plate(140) of a hull as a double wall structure.
