PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of controlling an electronic device including a touch sensitive display.

SOLUTION: The method includes: displaying on a touch sensitive display a plurality of graphical items each having identity information; detecting a coupling of at least two graphical items, the coupling being formed on the touch sensitive display by a user by making a line connecting the at least two graphical items; and, performing an action dependent upon the identity information of the coupled graphical items.
