PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forward scatting film by which the backscattering can be reduced and clear display is obtained and which does not lower the function as a liquid crystal display device, such as hindrance of polarized state, even when it is used in such a type of a liquid crystal display device that a light diffusion layer obtained from the forward scattering film is arranged as a liquid crystal display element between a double refraction film or a polarizer and a liquid crystal layer. SOLUTION: The forward scattering film 1 has a light scattering layer 2, wherein fine spherical particles having a refractive index different from that of a binder are dispersed in the transparent polymer binder, and two supports 3 which are provided on the both surfaces of the light scattering layer 2 and one of which is peelable. Thereby, it is possible to produce the forward scattering film with relatively simple equipment, to reduce the backscattering and to produce the forward scattering film giving a clear display. |
