<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device control apparatus, a device control method, and a program which are novel and improved and can be effectively added to a system regardless of whether a prescribed logical address has been acquired by another device. <P>SOLUTION: A device control apparatus is provided which includes one or more connection sections which are connected to an external device, and a control section which controls a sound output from a sound output section of sound data input from the connection sections.
