PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a location detection system and the like which can perform location detection of a terminal device by using locations detected by other neighboring terminal devices or the like, and enhance accuracy of the location detection.

SOLUTION: An information transmission/reception unit 41 of a request side user terminal device 10 requests neighboring user terminal devices 10 to transmit location information and GPS field intensity. Information transmission/reception units 41 of the other user terminals 10 transmit location information and field intensity acquired from respective GPS reception units 16 to the request side user terminal device 10. A coordinate calculation unit 45 of the request side user terminal device 10 having received the location information and field intensity calculates a location of its own user terminal device 10 according to the received pieces of location information, field intensity, field intensity of short range wireless communication detected by a short range communication field intensity detection unit 42, and the like.
