<p>The portable protection device (1) has a wireless communication interface (2), and an authentication module (3) for authentication the user (4) of the protection device by using the wireless communication interface. The wireless communication interface is comprised as radio frequency identification (RFID) tag, wireless local area network (LAN) port, or an infrared port. A sensor (S) such as an inclination sensor and/or a pressure sensor are connected with the authentication module which detects the wearing state of protection device by the user, based on signals from sensor. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) an access control method of portable protection device; (2) a machine-readable data carrier storing a computer program for access control of portable protection device; and (3) a computer program for access control of portable protection device.</p> |
