<p>Disclosed is an optical collimator wherein an optical fiber is simply and firmly fixed at a desired position in a holding member. The optical collimator (10) is provided with: the plastic optical fiber (13); and the cylindrical holder (11), which holds a collimator lens (12) on one end portion, and which is provided with an insertion hole (11a) having the plastic optical fiber (13) inserted therein, said insertion hole being in the other end portion. A recessed section (11e) is provided on a part of the holder (11) in a state wherein alignment is performed with respect to the collimator lens (12), and the plastic optical fiber (13) is held therein by the inner surface of the recessed section (11e).</p> |
