PURPOSE: An apparatus for manufacturing an ingot and a method for providing raw materials are provided to obtain a single crystal with high quality by uniformly subliming raw materials in the center and the outer side of a crucible to prevent a convex part in the center of the single crystal. CONSTITUTION: A crucible(100) receives raw materials(130) with carbon and silicon. The raw materials include the first powder(132) and the second powder(134). A top cover(140) seals the crucible. An insulation material(200) maintains the temperature of the crucible at a crystal growth temperature. A quartz tube(400) is fitted to the outer side of the crucible and prevents heat from being transmitted from a heat induction unit(500) to a single crystal growing device.
