The disclosure relates to a method and system for performing a transaction that includes providing an image valid only for a determined transaction; displaying the image on a screen of a communication terminal of a first user involved in the determined transaction; recognizing the displayed image through a terminal of a second user involved in the determined transaction; verifying the validity of the recognized image; and once the image has been validated, performing the determined transaction.
