PURPOSE: A device and a method for detecting cracks on a turbine blade root finger are provided to inspect a fixing unit of the turbine blade root finger whose shape is complex even though a turbine blade is assembled and to detect a cracked portion of the finger fixing unit by using a special jig even though the turbine blade is assembled. CONSTITUTION: A method for detecting cracks on a turbine blade root finger is as follows. A position capable of detecting cracks on a weak portion of a turbine root finger is confirmed(S310). A probe corresponding to the confirmed position is manufactured(320). A contact position of the probe is confirmed(S330). Properties of an ultrasonic reflection signals are analyzed, and the crack information are produced(S340).
