<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate work for confirming the state of a joint detection device before or after maintenance work by an operator and avoid malfunction of the joint detection device after completion of the maintenance work as much as possible. <P>SOLUTION: Seven-segment display units 77 serving as display means are installed in a display part 70A located on an upper face of a handle 70 of a component supply unit 6, corresponding to right and left lanes. A lower segment 91 blinks at short intervals along with feeding operation of a storage tape C.
