The device (1) has a ventilation hole (103) connected with a receiving chamber (104) on a periphery of the device, where the device is installed on a hub of a bicycle wheel. A retainer gap (102) is formed adjacent to the ventilation hole in the periphery of the device. A brake clamp (2) is partly held in the retainer gap, where airflow discharged by the ventilation hole is blown directly and continuously to the brake clamp to cool the brake clamp. The retainer gap expands outward when the brake clamp is clamped at both sides of the retainer gap.
