<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-vehicle environment recognition device for preventing erroneous recognition due to the head light beam of a peripheral vehicle with much smaller processing load. <P>SOLUTION: An in-vehicle environment recognition device 100 includes: a light source extraction part 300 for extracting a light source from an image; a light information part 400 for extracting a light whose light source is turned into an erroneous detection factor in the case of recognizing an environment on the basis of the position on the image of the light source, and for estimating light information including the information of the light intensity, three-dimensional position and light distribution pattern of the light; a road surface reflection estimation part 500 for estimating a road surface reflection estimation image area on the image in which the light is reflected on the road surface on the basis of the light information; and an in-vehicle environment recognition part 600 for recognizing the surrounding environment of a self-vehicle on the basis of the road surface reflection estimation image area. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
