PURPOSE: An image display apparatus and sharing method thereof are provided to improve user convenience by managing personal setup information by dividing the personal setup information into a personal category and a sharing category. CONSTITUTION: A communication unit(142) communicates with a portable terminal(220) including an application for controlling an image display apparatus using a wireless network. A profile unit(147) registers personal setup information for a control environment of the image display apparatus set by the application of the portable terminal. An environment setup unit(145) sets a user control environment of the image display apparatus by interworking the registered personal setup information. |
