<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent any failure of a recording head, and to enhance the reliability during the recording operation of an inkjet recording apparatus by detecting and eliminating any improper electric signal causing a failure of the recording head before the improper electric signal is input in the recording head. <P>SOLUTION: A recording command signal monitoring part, a head overheat time determination unit, and a recording acceptance/rejection determination unit are provided in a vicinity of a recording head.
