<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device equipped with a transfer belt unit which is downsized in a lateral direction and a vertical direction. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming device includes a plurality of photoreceptor drums 10; a transfer belt 8 wound around a plurality of supporting rollers, arranged along the plurality of the photoreceptor drums 10, to which a toner image formed on the photoreceptor drums 10 is primary-transferred, and secondary-transferring the primary-transferred toner image to an image forming medium; and a plurality of primary transfer rollers 25 corresponding to the plurality of the photoreceptor drums 10 so as to make the photoreceptor drums 10 and the transfer belt 8 contact with each other, and disposed on the opposite side across the transfer belt 8. The plurality of the supporting rollers include driven rollers 22; backup rollers 23 press-contacting with a secondary-transfer roller 24 through the transfer belt; and driving rollers 21 supported by arms 48 rotating about axial centers of the backup rollers 23, rotating in an inside direction of the transfer belt 8 during non-image forming, and rotating in an outside direction of the transfer belt 8 during image forming to drive the transfer belt 8 in a circulation moving direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
