RANDOM ACCESS METHOD AND DEVICE

Disclosed are a random access method and device. The method includes: judging whether user equipment has initiated a random access according to a random access detection threshold (210); if it is judged that the user equipment has initiated a random access, then sending a random access response to the user equipment (220); judging whether a radio resource control connection request sent from the user equipment is received after sending the random access response (230); if the radio resource control connection request is not received, then determining that the access of the user equipment is false, and accumulating the number of false accesses (240); and when the accumulated number of false accesses has exceeded a pre-set first threshold, notifying user equipment in a cell to improve the initial access power, and/or improve the random access detection threshold (250). By way of judging that the accumulated number of false accesses has exceeded a first threshold, and therefore improving the initial access power of user equipment and/or improving the random access detection threshold, the occurrence of false access can be suppressed and the access success rate of user equipment can be improved.
