<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an output level of a voice conforming to environment for a voice notification device used for local publicity. <P>SOLUTION: The voice notification device includes noise level detection means 22 for predicting or detecting a noise level in circumferential environment in a period in which no voice is output from a speaker; a variable gain amplifier 15 for amplifying a signal output to a speaker 18; and emergency-time control means for controlling the gain of the variable gain amplifier to a reference value regardless of the output of the noise level detection means when a signal transmitted from a center 30 is emergency information, and setting the output of the speaker to a maximum voice level. When the signal is not emergency information, and if the noise level is higher than a predetermined value, the output of the speaker is increased to a voice level which is higher by one stage than the voice level based upon the signal transmitted from the center while the gain of the variable gain amplifier is increased by one stage from the reference value, or if the noise level is lower than the predetermined value, the output of the speaker is set to the voice level based upon the transmission signal while the gain of the variable gain amplifier is regarded as a reference value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
