PURPOSE: A tilting check valve is provided to prevent damage to a seat of a valve body by reducing the closed speed of a disc with a dashpot when the disc is closed. CONSTITUTION: A tilting check valve(100) comprises a body(20), a disc(30), and a dashpot(40). The body is installed between pipes and has an inlet(21) and an outlet(22). A seat(25) is obliquely formed in the body to support the disc. The disc is obliquely supported on the seat of the body and is hinge-connected by a shaft(31) to open or close the body while being rotated by the pressure of fluid. The dashpot is arranged in the body to reduce the closed speed of the disc.
